We're seeking a Maintenance Project Manager who takes pride in delivering exceptional work, enjoys solving problems, and wants to make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors. This role is ideal for a skilled maintenance professional who enjoys variety, independence, and leading major projects across multiple communities.
What You'll Do
As the Maintenance Project Manager, you'll provide expert building maintenance and oversee major repair and improvement projects across a portfolio of senior living communities. You'll be a trusted resource, ensuring each property remains safe, functional, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support major maintenance and capital improvement projects across multiple communities
Perform skilled building maintenance and preventative maintenance activities
Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Prioritize projects effectively while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
Partner with community staff, residents, and vendors to deliver excellent service
Respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Associate degree or equivalent training in one of the following:
Electricity
HVAC
Plumbing/Fitting
Welding/Fabricating
AND two (2) years of related experience OR
Five (5) years of related maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Requirements
HVAC Certification preferred (must enroll within 6 months of hire and complete within 3 years if not currently certified)
EPA 608 Certification preferred (required within one year of hire)
Basic computer proficiency, including email, web navigation, and Microsoft Outlook
Ability to learn and use work order management systems
Valid driver's license and access to a registered and insured vehicle
Ability to travel frequently between communities and respond to emergency calls within one hour
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with residents, visitors, and team members
