Job Title: Systems Engineer –Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Systems Engineer –MBSE to support the development of turbine-based propulsion systems and their integration with aircraft systems. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in systems engineering, model-based systems engineering practices, and technical leadership in aerospace applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply and implement systems engineering processes across the lifecycle of turbine-based propulsion systems and interfacing aircraft systems.
Define, manage, and analyze system requirements and performance parameters.
Perform system safety analyses, including fault tree creation, system hazard analyses, and the generation of FMEA and FMECA documentation.
Support reliability engineering, risk management, and failure investigations.
Organize and manage technical data and documentation to meet customer requirements and internal best practices.
Provide analytical substantiation and data-driven insights to inform engineering design decisions.
Define, track, and document verification and validation activities across system, subsystem, and component levels.
Collaborate closely with program management and customer stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
Develop and deliver comprehensive customer-defined data packages on schedule.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering.
Broad technical understanding of turbine engine and/or airframe technologies.
Strong knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle and the ability to decompose requirements into actionable items.
Experience with system analysis methodologies such as FMEA, FMECA, and Fault Tree Analysis.
Familiarity with electronic and/or software systems.
Proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and build strong working relationships.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Strong written communication skills, including technical document preparation.
