Our client in the Lexington, KY area is seeking a talented Landscape Designer with a degree in Landscape Architecture and a passion for creating exceptional outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience specifically in commercial landscape design, coupled with expertise in design and construction document production.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to understand their goals and requirements for commercial landscape projects.
Apply your creative flair and technical knowledge to develop innovative and aesthetically pleasing landscape designs that align with client expectations.
Produce detailed construction documents, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Coordinate with project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to facilitate seamless project execution.
Stay informed about the latest trends, materials, and technologies in landscape design to integrate cutting-edge solutions into your work.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budgets.
Communicate effectively with clients, presenting design concepts and addressing feedback to ensure client satisfaction.
Provide on-site support during construction to ensure the accurate implementation of design intent.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited US institution.
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial landscape design.
Proven expertise in design and construction document production for commercial projects.
Proficiency in industry-standard design software and tools.
Strong understanding of plant materials, horticulture, and landscape construction techniques.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Knowledge of local regulations and codes related to commercial landscape projects.
