A client of mine located in Media, PA is looking for an Account Manager (with a focus on Commercial Lines) to join their staff. This Account Manager will aid the Account Managers and clients with service needs and making changes to existing accounts. Ideally looking for applicants that have their Property and Casualty Licenses. Also open to candidates who work in the Insurance industry, but are open to switching into an Account (or Assistant Account) Manager position.
Some of the responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Provide technical support to AM's;specifically in analyzing client needs, coverage forms, and quotations.
Complete applications in coordination with AM's;submit applications to eligible and appropriate insurance carriers;follow up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies.
Order and issues binders, certificates, policies, endorsements and other related items. Verifies documents for accuracy and gets them to the client with appropriate correspondence.
Determine if direct or agency billing is appropriate and invoices accordingly.
Review audits of policies
Verify policy and policy change information
Use agency credit and collection policy in invoicing and pursuing prompt payments
