An exciting opportunity has emerged with one of our valued longtime clients for an Information Governance Operations Manager to join their team and manage the firm’s onsite operations in either their Cincinnati or Indianapolis office. Key Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the firm’s Information Governance program, including overseeing workflows, reporting standards, training, and compliance metrics.
Supervise and support the Information Management staff across multiple office locations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Collaborate with external vendors and internal departments to support information governance technology and industry best practices.
Respond to specific information requests by retrieving and delivering documents through established procedures in a timely manner.
Oversee audits on both on-site and off-site information collections, ensuring full compliance with standards.
Develop and monitor scanning workflows for the Information Management team, vendors, and office services staff.
Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of client matters, files, and firm personnel across all assigned offices.
Manage and respond to assigned email and voicemail accounts promptly and professionally.
Provide valuable input on workload management, process improvements, and training needs for the firm’s staff.
Complete operational quality control reports for information management activities in assigned offices.
Support attorneys and staff in understanding and complying with Information Governance policies, processes, and technologies.
Take on additional tasks as required by management.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent;some college coursework is preferred.
2-3 years of supervisory experience, or at least 5 years of experience in a professional legal environment.
Relevant certifications such as IGP, CIP, or CRM are a plus.
A working knowledge of records and information management protocols, particularly within the legal industry, is preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience managing both physical and electronic documents, files, and containers.
Excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced setting.
Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse audience.
