We are seeking a degreed IT Support Specialist for our client. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to design and develop custom programs to aid in systems management. Responsibilities include monitoring, maintaining, and executing automation processes and procedures. This role entails managing equipment that handles switching, routing, and, in some cases, perimeter devices such as firewalls. Ensuring the efficiency of all IT systems that support business functions is paramount.
This position will support and develop specific platforms, concentrating on unifying communications, messaging, and identity toward a seamless user experience. Providing high-quality, responsive, and consistent resolutions to IT incidents and improving system efficiency are key responsibilities. This role also involves supporting and maintaining server infrastructure, technical debugging, and managing email security, archiving, and cleansing services.
The successful candidate will maintain knowledge of current and future information security threats and challenges. Collaboration with other Operations teams and vendors to ensure a coordinated approach to infrastructure support is essential. Additionally, responsibilities include testing, imaging, and deployment of new mobile devices, as well as providing expertise and support in security engineering, incident response, and risk management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, required.
Proficiency in developing custom programs for systems management
Experience in monitoring, maintaining, and executing automation processes
Knowledge of switching, routing, and perimeter devices management
Strong understanding of IT systems supporting business functions
Expertise in unifying communications, messaging, and identity platforms
Ability to provide high-quality, responsive resolutions to IT incidents
Experience in supporting and maintaining server infrastructure
Familiarity with technical debugging and email security services
Knowledge of current and future information security threats and challenges
Ability to collaborate effectively with other teams and vendors
Experience in testing, imaging, and deploying new mobile device
Expertise in security engineering, incident response, and risk management
