IBMi Developer
Join our team as a seasoned IBMi Developer and make a meaningful impact in our dynamic organization. This role is ideal for an experienced developer passionate about software development and eager to innovate within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with development teams to design, develop, and maintain applications on the IBMi platform.
Create and manage modular, scalable, and efficient RPG programs using RPG ILE and relevant APIs.
Utilize SQL and Embedded SQL for data manipulation, retrieval, and database management.
Work closely with management, peers, business analysts, and quality assurance teams for seamless communication and project execution.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
Actively contribute to the refinement of software development processes and adherence to best practices.
Requirements:
Approximately 10 years of experience as an IBMi RPG ILE Developer
Skilled in Profound UI for modernizing IBMi applications.
Proficient in RPGILE, RPG Free, CL, and CLLE programming.
Advanced knowledge of SQL and Embedded SQL.
Expertise in modular design with a commitment to clean, maintainable code.
Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to excel in a fast-paced development setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with development tools such as RDI, Visual Studio Code, LMi, and GIT.
Experience with Azure DevOps for work item tracking and project management.
Leadership experience is a plus.
