INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY RN- PERM POSITION SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
SALARY RANGE $90, 000 - $128, 960 - DOE

Position Summary:
The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who performs patient assessment, and develops, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of an interdisciplinary plan of care for patient populations with various diagnoses. Maintains professional standards of conduct and ethics as outlined in department expectations and professional organizations. Provides education to patients, families, caregivers, and other health professionals. Assists in the supervision of other staff members, students, and volunteers, as appropriate. Demonstrates awareness and sensitivity to patients'/caregivers' rights, as identified within the institution.

Qualifications:
- Qualifications RN Experience:
- Two (2) years of critical care experience in a setting such as ICU, ED, or PACU as a Registered Nurse, required only if no previous experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) or Cardiac Cath Lab within the past 5 years.
- Must be able to scrub and circulate in IR and/or Cath Lab procedure area.
- Must be able to take calls and able to do heavy lifting and pushing. Must be able to wear a protective lead apron and thyroid shield.
- Provide nursing support for non-invasive cardiology and radiology services.
- Qualifications RN Transitional Experience:
-
One year of full-time experience in an acute care hospital (all departments; except Surgery). The surgery department would consider a one-year full-time experience in a surgery center.
- Must be able to scrub and circulate in IR and/or Cath Lab procedure area.
- Must be able to take calls and able to do heavy lifting and pushing. Must be able to wear a protective lead apron and thyroid shield.
- Provide nursing support for non-invasive cardiology and radiology services.
