Our client, a leading law firm in Detroit, is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant with 5+ years of experience to join their team. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, client-focused environment while providing critical support to attorneys and paralegals. Key Responsibilities:
Draft, proofread, and file pleadings in state and federal courts.
Manage deadlines, legal filings, and client files.
Provide proactive administrative and litigation support to attorneys.
Process payments, reimbursements, and assist with case preparation.
Collaborate with internal teams, court personnel, and clients.
Qualifications:
5+ years of litigation legal assistant experience in a law firm or legal setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office;knowledge of iManage, Kofax, or similar tools preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Familiarity with litigation processes and court operations.
