We’re looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager to join a stable, growing company in the Tampa Bay area. You’ll lead a small, collaborative team handling AR, AP, payroll, cash management, and more. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys both the details and the big picture —managing the month-end close while mentoring team members and partnering with leadership.

Total comp: $110K–$115K
Duties:
Oversee all daily accounting and reporting activities
Manage month-end close, account reconciliations, and internal reporting
Provide timely financial statements and assist with board and audit committee reporting
Support budgeting and variance analysis for department heads
Maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures
Guide and grow a 6-person team with a supportive, high-performance culture
Lead annual audits, retirement plan audits, and Medicaid cost reports
Help prepare annual tax returns
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Strong experience across all areas of accounting
Prior audit or multi-entity experience is a plus
Proficiency with Excel and accounting systems
Great communication, leadership, and analytical skills
Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and curious by nature
