Job Summary:
Service Sales is responsible for consultative selling with assigned and new customers. The Service Sales
position achieves sales quotas and growing sales in an assigned territory. Service Sales represents the
entire range of company products and services to our customers while ensuring customers;needs and
expectations are met by the company.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Implements selling and marketing strategies to penetrate and develop commercial HVAC
accounts.
Develops strategic relationships with key commercial client accounts to generate repeat
business.
Forms accurate and complete sales proposals with a high level of attention to detail.
Generates and researches HVAC leads and initial screening.
Drives sales growth by reaching out to prospective customers proactively (phone, email, in
person), developing relationships, and converting prospects into customers.
Forms accurate and complete sales proposals.
Maintains and tracks customer information updated in the CRM Program.
Collaborates on marketing initiatives to drive awareness and qualified lead opportunities.
Keeps informed and participates in training on the latest technology in the HVAC (Heating,
Ventilation, and Air Conditioning field.
Forms and maintains professional relationships with distributors, contractors, and clients.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with B2B and/or wholesale sales.
Excellent sales and customer service skills, with proven negotiation skills.
Ability to communicate and sell services, as well as equipment and systems.
Capable of successfully closing the sales agreement and providing follow-up to assure sustainably
strong customer relationships.
Thorough understanding of the company’s products and/or services, and those of immediate
competitors in the surrounding market.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field;OR
Extensive sales experience is required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to regularly travel.
