About the Role: We seek a dedicated HSE Technician for our manufacturing client. The ideal candidate will support implementing and maintaining Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and programs across our manufacturing sites. This role involves conducting regular audits, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and fostering a safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures.
Identify and report compliance issues, HSE risks, and opportunities for improvement through daily, weekly, and monthly audits.
Investigate HSE incidents, identify root causes, recommend corrective actions, and maintain thorough records.
Conduct HSE training sessions for employees to ensure awareness and adherence to safety practices.
Collaborate with the HSE Supervisor and other team members to enhance HSE performance.
Conduct risk assessments for new and existing tasks and equipment.
Innovate process improvements and manage actions to completion.
Train and assist leads, supervisors, and managers in fulfilling their HSE responsibilities.
Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal HSE regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field;or 4+ years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
