An established longtime client is seeking a talented Financial Reporting Analyst to join their accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to critical financial reporting processes, perform in-depth analyses, and support strategic decision-making in a collaborative and dynamic environment. The team also has the opportunity to work remotely at least one day a week. Key Responsibilities:
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes, including management reporting, financial statement analysis, and reconciliations.
Prepare comprehensive financial reports and analyses using advanced tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Tableau.
Develop a strong understanding of the organization’s financial systems to serve as a subject matter expert for system integration and reporting.
Perform ad hoc projects and analyses, managing assignments from start to finish with accuracy and timeliness.
Assist various departments with surveys and data collection efforts as needed.
Utilize reporting tools and business intelligence platforms to extract, analyze, and present financial data.
Contribute to ongoing improvements in financial reporting processes and systems.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Analytics, or a related field.
A minimum of four years of progressive experience in accounting systems and financial reporting;professional services or law firm experience is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to summarize and present complex financial data.
Advanced proficiency in database queries, data extraction, and reporting tools such as SQL, Excel, and Business Intelligence software.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization.
Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work beyond regular hours as necessary to meet deadlines.
