FP&A Analyst/Financial Analyst

Location: Onsite in St. Louis, MO 63141
Position Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, and business performance analysis across the organization. This role will partner closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver insights that drive strategic decision-making, margin improvement, and operational efficiency.

The FP&A Analyst will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, helping the organization continue to scale with strong financial discipline. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance professional with 1+ years of experience who is looking to grow within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
  • Analyze financial results versus budget and forecast;identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions and scenario planning
  • Partner with operations, sales, and leadership teams to provide actionable financial insights
  • Prepare monthly reporting packages, dashboards, and variance analyses for leadership
  • Assist with cost analysis, margin analysis, and profitability analysis by product, customer, or channel
  • Improve and streamline FP&A processes, reporting tools, and data accuracy
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, corporate finance, accounting, or related finance experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic finance team
