Job Description

Field Services Engineer

Location: Fargo, ND
Type: Full-time, Onsite

Responsibilities

Install, modify, and repair equipment and software to align with customer specifications.
Conduct preventive maintenance to optimize equipment performance and ensure longevity.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues swiftly to minimize downtime.
Provide expert technical support and guidance to clients.
Adhere to safety standards and uphold company protocols in all service activities.
Generate detailed service reports and analyze system performance.
Support sample migration and assist with ongoing customer operations.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of service activities and records.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements to continuously enhance service quality.

Qualifications

Associate of Science (AS) degree, technical certificate, or equivalent experience required
5+ years of Field Service experience or military technical training
Strong background in electrical and mechanical systems
Skilled in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and independent decision-making
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Must possess a valid driver's license, passport, and be eligible for a credit card
Experience with PCs, Windows, DOS-based operating systems;Oracle knowledge is highly beneficial
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and operate in cold environments
