We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site support to clients, travel required. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical troubleshooting, customer service, and project management.
Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site field visits to collect data, partner with customers on potential solutions, and supervise equipment installation.
Investigate and resolve customer reports of technical problems with equipment, performing analysis and providing solutions.
Ensure all new or modified equipment installations meet industry standards, company standards, and customer specifications.
Review performance reports and inspect malfunctioning or damaged equipment to determine the nature and scope of the problem.
Coordinate problem resolutions with Field Service, Engineering, and other inter-company departments to expedite service.
Maintain records of reports and submit them to the Field Service Supervisor.
Provide recommendations to the Field Service Supervisor on recurring equipment problems noted in the field to initiate corrective action.
Ensure regular attendance, punctuality, and ability to work on-site and overtime.
Collaborate with others and maintain respectful interactions with stakeholders.
Perform multiple tasks concurrently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or at least three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Experience with expense reporting and submitting receipts.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
