Mid-Level Associate –Tax Practice (Trusts & Estates, Tax-Exempt Organizations)
We are seeking smart, driven, and imaginative professionals with diverse backgrounds and experiences to join our team. If your search for meaningful and impactful work aligns with our pursuit of talented visionaries, we may be the perfect match.
Our client is hiring a mid-level associate for the Tax practice, which includes Trusts & Estates and Tax-Exempt Organizations, in their dynamic Pittsburgh office. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration, with a focus on complex and high-net-worth estates. The candidate should be capable of managing multiple matters independently.
Compensation The salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will depend on various factors, including prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
Prepare court pleadings for probate administration and related proceedings.
Analyze and succinctly summarize complex planning structures.
Assist with estate administration across multiple estates of varying sizes.
Qualifications:
J.D. From an accredited law school.
Admission to, or eligibility to sit for, the Pennsylvania Bar.
3+ years of estate planning and administration experience in a sophisticated law firm.
Strong academic credentials (minimum 3.2 GPA).
Excellent communication, research, and writing skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Commitment to delivering the highest quality client service.
