Seeking an experienced Energetics Engineer with subject matter expertise in the development and qualification of aerospace-related pyrotechnic and energetic components such as gas generators, initiators, and igniters. Key Responsibilities:
Develop product requirements and technical specifications;manage verification activities throughout the product life cycle.
Interpret and apply relevant government regulations, standards, safety procedures, and compliance requirements.
Contribute to the design, analysis, and manufacturing of energetic components and propellants.
Plan, execute, and analyze qualification and development tests for energetic systems.
Prepare, document, and present test plans, technical reports, and data summaries to key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the development and qualification of energetic components.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.G., Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Systems or Project Management).
Solid understanding of Requirements Verification and Validation (RV&V) processes.
Proficient organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Effective interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-resolution skills.
Strong technical writing capabilities and proficiency in preparing documentation and reports.
Familiarity with ammunition and explosive certification processes and related regulatory environments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
U.S. Citizenship is required.
