Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Engineer
Reports to: Engineering Manager

Principal Function:

Assure projects are scheduled and delivered on time and budget
Continuous improvement activities to increase productivity and profitability of company
Quality Assurance of products produced
Must be able to multi-task
Must be fluent in reading of architectural drawings
Must comply with Employee Handbook and Safety Manual
Must follow Production Policy & Procedures

Organization:

Works closely with the Staff
The relationship among the Staff is to be one of mutual respect and trust, working together as a team
Be a good steward with the Budget

Requirements:

2 Years + experience in woodworking
AutoCAD and Bluebeam fluency
Must be familiar with LEED, FSC, AWI, AWI QCP, SEFA standards

Scope of work:

Full time, on-site;No remote work is available for this position

Compensation:

Salary is determined by President/CEO based on experience, education and/or licensing

Position Benefits:

Salaried or Hourly
PTO: 2 weeks per year starting on January 1. No unused PTO will be carried over
Observed Holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day;
All PTO must be coordinated with the President/CEO

Specific Responsibilities:

Understanding of cabinet/millwork design and construction
Prepare shop drawings and submittals using AutoCAD or Microvellum
Document management of shop drawings and submittals
Track contract drawings such as specs, RFI’s, ASI’s, bulletins, etc.
Enter product into Product Planner or Microvellum
Product DXF drawings as necessary
