Responsibilities
In a supervisory role, you will be responsible for performing a diverse range of functions including but not limited to:
- Interprets specifications, blueprints, electrical diagrams, and job orders to employees and assigns duties.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Perform electrical inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Communicates production schedules and ensures the meeting of critical deadlines.
- Interprets specifications, blueprints, electrical diagrams, and job orders to employees and assigns duties.
- Ensure 5S is being applied and make recommendations for continuous improvements through collaboration with the team.
- Quality checks assembled products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Ensures all equipment is up to date and in working order.
- Facilitate safety training, performance appraisals, and weekly hour reporting. This may include pay negotiations and budget setting for the department.
Qualifications
The following are the minimum requirements to be considered for this role:
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
- Previous manufacturing experience or large construction projects.
- Electrical Journeyman license or equivalent experience.
