Our client is a well-known healthcare organization located near San Jose, California. They are seeking an experienced EP Tech (Electrophysiology Technologist) for a 13-week contract position near San Jose, California. As an EP Tech, you will assist physicians in performing electrophysiology procedures, including catheter ablations, device implantations, and other diagnostic testing.
Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for electrophysiology procedures
Assist physicians during procedures by operating complex equipment, monitoring patient vital signs, and administering medications
Collect and interpret data during procedures and communicate findings to physicians
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
Maintain accurate and complete medical records
Participate in quality improvement activities and maintain knowledge of current standards of practice
