Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
A growing, multi-site consumer services organization is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of FP&A to lead enterprise financial planning, forecasting, performance analytics, and executive reporting initiatives. This highly visible role partners closely with senior leadership to drive business performance, support strategic decision-making, and provide actionable financial insights across the organization.
The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of financial analysis, operational partnership, leadership, and business acumen within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the company-wide annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
Own consolidated monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis, KPI tracking, and performance insights.
Prepare executive and board-level financial reporting packages and presentations.
Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, capital investments, and acquisition opportunities.
Support liquidity management and cash flow forecasting, including both short-term and long-range planning.
Build scenario analysis and profitability models to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Partner cross-functionally with operations and business leaders to improve financial visibility, accountability, and performance.
Collaborate with data and business intelligence teams to enhance reporting automation, accuracy, and analytics capabilities.
Lead, mentor, and develop FP&A team members while fostering a high-performance culture.
Qualifications
7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, transaction advisory, or related finance functions, including leadership experience.
Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and executive-level reporting.
Experience supporting mergers & acquisitions, including financial diligence and integration activities, is preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Excel along with experience using ERP systems and BI/reporting tools.
Experience within private-equity-backed, multi-site, retail, or consumer-facing organizations is highly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
