Opportunity Overview: Our client is seeking a Director of Care Management, a role critical to their organization's success. This leadership position is responsible for the seamless integration of state-of-the-art care management programs, ensuring the highest standards of patient care while optimizing resource utilization. Your visionary approach will guide the development and implementation of care/utilization management systems and processes, monitor progress in clinical quality improvement, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration on behalf of our client.
Role Essentials:
Required Licenses & Certifications: Valid Texas LMSW & CCM, ACM, or FAACM license. RN or LMSW license, with LCSW preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in utilization, case management, or related fields, with at least 3 years in hospital-based roles. A strong background in business planning, healthcare settings, and targeted outcomes is essential.
Skills: Exceptional communication, self-motivation, and a proven ability to work collaboratively across all levels. A deep understanding of clinical care, payor requirements, managed care, and the continuum of care is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate the case management program, enhancing patient care and operational efficiency.
Oversee the development of care/utilization management processes.
Promote effective resource utilization and interdisciplinary collaboration.
