Director, Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S)
Moses Lake, WA (Onsite)
Full-Time | Relocation Available
Salary: $200, 000 –$259, 000 

Overview
We are partnering with a fast-growing, innovative industrial company to identify a Director of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) to lead safety, environmental, and compliance initiatives at a key production facility.

This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for building and scaling EH&S programs in a startup-style manufacturing environment. The right individual will bring both strategic leadership and hands-on execution to drive a strong safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all EH&S programs across plant operations
  • Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all applicable regulations
  • Drive a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Leadership teams to integrate EH&S into daily operations
  • Manage audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting
  • Oversee environmental compliance and emergency response planning
  • Track and report EH&S performance metrics and KPIs

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of EH&S experience in manufacturing, chemical, energy, or industrial environments
  • Proven leadership experience building or improving EH&S programs
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and environmental regulations
  • Experience in high-growth or startup environments preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred Experience
  • Background in chemical processing, energy, or clean technology environments
  • Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) and high-hazard operations
  • Professional certifications such as CSP or CIH
