Their services include Site Planning, Design, Water Distribution and Storage, Sanitary and Storm Sewer Transport, Sewer Overflow Control, Stormwater and sustainable Infrastructure management, Flood Resiliency, Floodplain Restoration, and Flood Control.

What you’ll be doing
  • Create, modify, and/or calibrate hydraulic water and/or sewer distribution models.
  • Analyze hydraulic model results and present information to lead engineers or a project manager.
  • Execute engineering design tasks. Assist in developing preliminary reports, design drawings, technical specifications, and contractual documents with minimal supervision.
  • Analyze and interpret surveys, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photographs, water quality data, and other analytical data to plan and design water and/or wastewater treatment facilities, storage tanks, and pump stations.
  • Prepare and present reports or analyses including design calculations, field data results/conclusions, and cost estimates. Present data to the design team, PM’s, or outside stakeholders.
  • Coordinate work with other engineering and/or environmental teams to develop design tasks.
  • Provide support for construction projects, including drawing reviews and RFI responses.
  • Prepare proposals, fee estimates, purchase orders, and subcontract agreements.
  • Participate in the quality review process of work products developed by others and take ownership of providing quality work.
  • Coordinate work on multiple concurrent projects
  • Regularly communicate status and deliverables
  • Advanced understanding of engineering fundamentals.
  • Occasional field activities may be required.

We’re excited if you have
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 8+ years of experience in engineering/design.
  • Licensure in Maryland, or obtaining within one year of joining.
  • Experience in water and/or wastewater treatment engineering and design fundamentals.
  • Experience with pressure and gravity system hydraulics.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $100, 000 and $130, 000 annually.

Compensation packages are unique to each candidate, including skill set, certification/licenses, and geography.
