Join Our Team as a Controls Engineer Tech

We are seeking a dynamic Controls Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing systems. As a Controls Engineer Tech, you will be at the forefront of our commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.

This position starts on day shift 8-5 pm then it will rotate to a 12-hour shift after the training period.

Qualifications:

-2 years of experience in the electrical field, with electrical experience in a continuous manufacturing process
environment a plus
-Professional certification or degree desired
-Familiar with computer-assimilated systems and automated control systems
-Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Safety Leadership: Take charge of ensuring compliance with site safety regulations, supporting the plant manager in implementing safety systems, and promptly addressing any safety-related issues.

  2. Quality Commitment: Demonstrate your dedication to our quality management system by maintaining accountability, integrating systems, and employing a risk-based approach to your work.

  3. Technical Expertise: Provide comprehensive support for IT functions, including but not limited to Programmable Logic Controllers, Human Machine Interfaces, and desktop networks. Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.

  4. Process Integration: Undertake crucial integration tasks, such as SCADA development, process monitoring, data collection, and analysis using design drawings and electrical schematics.

  5. Project Management: Manage various automation projects, overseeing project documentation, effectively communicating with stakeholders, crafting sequences of operations, and coordinating co-workers and contractors.

  6. Performance Analysis: Analyze IT-related downtime and devise effective corrective actions to enhance overall performance.

  7. IT Support: Provide essential support for server and desktop hardware and software to ensure seamless operations across the organization.

  8. Flexibility: Willingness to take on any additional tasks assigned by the Information Technology Manager and contribute actively to the company's quality and safety initiatives.
