Recruiting In Motion is seeking a dynamic Controller to join our client's accounting team and play a pivotal role in driving the financial success of the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a blend of computer technical ability, a detail-oriented mindset, and excellent people and management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Month-End Close Process: Oversee and execute the month-end close process to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
Team Leadership: Direct and supervise employees, including hiring new team members and performing necessary personnel actions.
Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and streamline accounting and operational processes for increased efficiency.
Journal Entries and Reconciliation: Record journal entries and reconcile General Ledger accounts to maintain financial accuracy.
Policy Development and Adherence: Develop, implement, and monitor adherence to accounting and operational procedures, controls, and policies.

Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or a related field;CPA preferred but not required.
Technical Skills: High computer literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience with SQL preferred.
Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP.
Automation Experience: Familiarity with automation software, such as Power Automate Desktop, is a plus.
Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive with excellent communication skills and a genuine care for people.
