Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Contract Accountant with a strong background in accounting to support critical financial operations. This position is ideal for an experienced professional ready to contribute expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all accounting transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances and prepare financial statements.
Assess internal controls, perform risk assessments, and evaluate risk areas.
Conduct monthly balance sheet and income statement reviews, including variance analysis.
Publish timely financial statements and handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Compute taxes, prepare tax returns, and manage profit/loss statements.
Audit financial transactions, ensure compliance with financial policies, and maintain confidentiality.
Prepare reports on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
Perform database backups and maintain compliance with regulations.
Skills and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance (required).
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
