Our client is seeking a seasoned Continuous Improvement Manager to lead the development and implementation of Lean manufacturing practices within a dynamic production environment. This role is essential for fostering a culture of continuous improvement, optimizing processes, and enhancing quality and service to drive key business results.
Key Responsibilities:
Vision & Strategy: Shape and communicate a clear strategy for Lean system implementation and continuous improvement.
Process Improvement: Identify, facilitate, and execute process improvement projects and training sessions to drive change.
Root Cause Analysis: Conduct advanced data collection and root cause analysis to address issues related to manufacturing, assembly, and material flow.
Data & Cost Analysis: Map processes, analyze costs, and evaluate project feasibility to support cost savings and efficiency.
Lean Methodologies: Implement and promote 6 Sigma, 5S, Lean, OEE, and other continuous improvement practices.
Downtime & Data Integrity: Track and analyze downtime, communicate insights with management, and develop data-driven improvement plans.
Training & Development: Provide strategic leadership for technical training and facilitate a continuous improvement mindset throughout the organization.
Project Management: Propose, prioritize, and manage improvement projects aimed at enhancing productivity and reducing waste.
Quality & Standards: Monitor work quality per the company's Quality Plan and collaborate across departments to eliminate product defects and improve operating standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment, with a demonstrated focus on process improvements and Lean methodologies.
Strong project management skills, analytical capabilities, and ability to foster cross-functional teamwork.
Effective in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with strong organizational skills and commitment to quality.
