A mid-sized construction company, primarily focused on multi-family builds and remodels, is seeking a Project Manager to oversee several projects. This role will require traveling to various local and out-of-state sites as well as working in the office.
Responsibilities
Oversees all aspects of multi-family housing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
Collaborates with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to develop project plans and specifications.
Manages project budgets, procurement, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
Coordinates and leads regular project meetings with the project team to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
Monitors construction progress, identify potential risks or delays and implement corrective actions as needed to keep the project on track.
Ensures compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards throughout the construction process.
Facilitates the resolution of any project-related issues or disputes that may arise, maintaining positive relationships with all parties involved.
Conducts regular site visits to inspect workmanship, address any construction issues, and ensure quality control.
Prepares and maintains accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and project close-out documentation.
Provides leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
Must be able to work on-site.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, preferably in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related filed.
5 years of construction experience, multi-family preferred.
Strong ability to manage multiple projects at various stages of renovation and construction.
Salary/Benefits
$100k-$130k plus company benefits and travel reimbursement
