About the Opportunity:
Our client is a construction management firm supporting a large K–12 capital improvement program in Los Angeles. They are seeking a Senior Regional Construction Scheduler to provide program-level scheduling oversight and contractor schedule review within a structured public-sector environment.
This is a full-time, 100% on-site position in Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities:
Report to senior scheduling leadership and provide executive-level schedule reports
Supervise and support project schedulers across multiple active projects
Review contractor Primavera P6 baseline schedules for logic, scope, milestones, and cost loading
Review monthly P6 updates and document milestone slippage and critical path impacts
Perform detailed Time Impact Analysis (TIA) using Windows Analysis methodology
Interpret construction drawings (Architectural, Structural, MEP, Civil, etc.) to validate scope
Determine compensable vs. Non-compensable time extensions based on contract terms
Develop and maintain program and master schedules
Ensure compliance with standardized coding structures and reporting formats
Attend schedule meetings and visit construction sites as needed
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

Experience
Minimum 10 years of full-time professional construction scheduling experience for an Owner or General Contractor
Experience on educational facilities or public works projects preferred
Strong background in CPM scheduling and schedule forensics
Technical Requirements:
Proficiency in Primavera P6 (latest version)
Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
OR
Bachelor’s degree in any field with an additional four (4) years of qualifying construction scheduling experience
Availability:
Ability to work full-time, on-site in Los Angeles

Critical path evaluation and schedule risk assessment
Time Impact Analysis (TIA) expertise
Strong written schedule review documentation skills
Superior organizational and planning skills
Ability to work effectively with project teams and leadership
