Compensation: $129, 000 per year + comprehensive benefits

About the Opportunity:

Our client is a construction management firm supporting a large institutional facilities modernization program in Los Angeles. They are seeking a Junior M&O Program Manager to support planning, design, and construction activities for K-12 and public-sector facilities, working closely with project managers, designers, and public agencies to ensure projects are delivered accurately, safely, and on schedule.

This is a full-time, on-site role within a regulated, public-sector capital program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with coordination of pre-construction, design, bidding, construction, and close-out activities
  • Support project scope development by validating site conditions and reviewing design team inputs
  • Draft concept drawings and layouts to visualize project scope
  • Track and report project status, budgets, and schedules
  • Coordinate with public agencies, utilities, and regulatory bodies to support project approvals
  • Support bid, contract, and procurement activities
  • Assist with monitoring project budgets and scope control
  • Work with technical staff to estimate building costs and changes
  • Maintain facility inventory maps and drawings using AutoCAD and related tools
  • Prepare reports and documentation for project leadership


MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in project or construction management, including:
    • Pre-construction planning
    • Construction monitoring
    • Project close-out
  • Experience working in educational facilities or public-sector projects
  • Experience with construction safety protocols, Cal-OSHA, and environmental procedures
  • Bachelor’s degree (Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related)
    (or equivalent experience or CCM certification)
  • Ability to work on-site full time in Los Angeles


Preferred Qualifications (Not mandatory)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience using Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Adobe, Revit, ArcGIS
  • Strong report-writing and documentation skills

  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a regulated environment
  • Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to interpret drawings, scopes, and cost information
  • Strong written and verbal communication
