Job Summary: Are you an experienced HVAC installer looking to take your skills to the next level? We are seeking a talented, motivated, and safety-conscious HVAC Installer to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in bringing HVAC systems to life, ensuring everything is installed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
Installation Expertise: Read and interpret construction drawings to efficiently install and seal duct systems. You’ll work with everything from duct fittings to refrigeration piping, ensuring flawless installations in both commercial and industrial settings.
Hands-on Skillset: Utilize your proficiency in hand tools, tape measures, and HVAC equipment. You’ll be responsible for field fabrication and modifications of ductwork, ensuring everything fits and functions seamlessly on-site.
System Start-Up: Be the key player in evacuating, charging, and starting up HVAC equipment. Your expertise will ensure that every system is up and running perfectly.
Customer-Focused: Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external customers, addressing any concerns and delivering high-quality work that meets our high standards.
Safety First: Adhere to all company safety protocols, keeping your workspace clean and organized. Safety is a top priority, and you’ll be a role model for safety standards across the team.
Documentation: Ensure all work is thoroughly documented, from installations to modifications. Accurate records help keep everything on track.
Team Collaboration: Work well with apprentices and other team members, sharing knowledge and helping the team meet project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following skills are a bonus:
Experience with refrigeration piping installation and electrical wiring termination for HVAC systems.
Knowledge of chilled water (CHW) and hot water (HW) systems.
Ability to effectively guide and mentor apprentices, helping them grow in their HVAC careers.
Requirements:
18 years of age or older.
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
5+ years of experience in commercial and industrial HVAC installation (preferred).
EPA refrigerant certification (required).
OSHA 10 certification (preferred but not required).
Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds, and other equipment for overhead tasks.
Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed (minimal).
Willingness to travel overnight occasionally (minimal).
Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
