The client specializes in commercial contracting, construction management, architectural trades, and design. What sets us apart from other general contractors is our unique ability to perform and implement all architectural trades as part of a project.
Responsibilities: - Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to blueprints and project specifications - Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and countertops - Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs - Inspect and replace damaged frameworks or other structures - Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area - Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion
Essential Job Duties:
Demolition
Concrete
Rough and finish carpentry
Acoustical ceilings
Painting
Industrial coatings and concrete treatments
Millwork
Floorcovering
Qualifications: - Proven experience as a carpenter in the construction or restoration industry - Proficient in using hand and power tools to complete carpentry tasks - Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation - Ability to plumb and level structures accurately - Familiarity with concrete forming and pouring techniques - STEEL STUD FRAMING experience is a plus - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
*Willing to train residential carpenters to understand commercial*
Typical Hours: 7: 00 am-3: 00 pm (Monday-Friday)
