Position Overview The Client Executive will serve as a top-level manager within a thriving, growing firm, regularly engaging with senior representatives of current and prospective clients. This role oversees all client relations for assigned accounts, including project team performance and overall client satisfaction. The Client Executive will manage teams responsible for delivering high-quality construction documents across all project phases, including Pre-Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration. Your Impact
Strategic Leadership
Play a pivotal role in shaping and guiding the firm’s strategic plan.
Leverage corporate resources and management support to achieve operational and client-focused goals.
Operational Excellence
Ensure seamless delivery of services, fostering a positive culture and adherence to processes.
Oversee client relations, project team performance, and client satisfaction.
Supervise project teams to produce accurate, compliant deliverables for all project phases.
Ensure projects align with contractual agreements, budgets, and timelines.
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams, consultants, and vendors.
Organize and mentor teams to execute work efficiently and cohesively.
Oversee design integrity and construction documentation, ensuring alignment with project intent.
Delegate tasks effectively and provide guidance to junior staff.
Occasional travel required.
Business Development & Marketing
Cultivate relationships with potential clients and collaborate with marketing teams to identify new opportunities.
Management & Leadership
Promote staff development, oversee recruitment, and manage resource allocation.
Lead key initiatives, including:
Executive and board meetings
Major client presentations
Strategic planning sessions
Staffing and management meetings
High-level QA/QC reviews
Regular check-ins with Production Director and Project Managers
Qualifications
Licensed Architect in the state of practice.
Minimum 15 years of architectural experience, including 10+ years managing project teams and processes.
Prior experience in K12 and/or Higher Education projects is required.
Proven ability to drive client satisfaction, lead cross-functional teams, and deliver projects on budget.
Strong organizational, decision-making, and mentorship skills.
