Job Description


Our client has an immediate opening for a CRM Specialist. Reporting directly to the Senior Marketing Technology Manager, this individual would become a highly valued member of the Firm’s Marketing Department and is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the Firm’s CRM software and email campaign software. The role focuses on data quality, onboarding new attorneys, training, reporting, customizations, and managing marketing lists.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the Firm’s CRM software and serve as product champion throughout the Firm.

  • Serve as the primary contact point for the CRM, including answering user questions, investigating issues, providing recommendations for enhancements, and being the primary point of contact with the Firm’s CRM vendor.

  • Oversee data quality initiatives and projects in the CRM, making recommendations on data standards and areas for cleanup.

  • Onboard new lawyers to the CRM, including working closely with the Firm’s IT Department to create user accounts.

  • Develop and maintain CRM training materials, including videos and written instructions.

  • Work with the Senior Marketing Technology Manager and the Marketing Department’s Senior Leadership Team on strategic initiatives and enhancements to increase process efficiencies and CRM utilization across the Firm.

  • Work on potential integrations with other Firm systems and troubleshoot issues with existing integrations.

  • Coordinate with the Firm’s IT Department on any internal issues with the CRM and email campaign software.

  • Build reports in the CRM, including using Power BI to generate advanced reports.

  • Provide analytics on CRM usage and identify success stories to share in Firm communications to increase engagement.

  • Lead the ongoing training for Marketing Department members in using the CRM with the Firm’s email marketing software, showing users how to track attendance and utilize advanced fields.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Firm’s email marketing software, overseeing support tickets and staying on top of new features, offering suggestions for possible enhancements.

  • Responsible for regular email campaign analytics, including analyzing timing, offering recommendations based on data, and proposing A/B testing when appropriate.

  • Work closely with members of the Digital Marketing team on other assigned tasks as necessary, including website and blog postings.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 to 5 years working in a professional services environment. Prefer experience in the legal industry.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience working with a CRM, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.

  • Experience with email marketing campaign software, preferably Vuture. Experience with A/B testing and email analytics is a plus.

  • Experience developing and delivering CRM training to users.

  • Strong Excel skills, including strong knowledge of pivot tables.

  • Strong verbal and written skills, good at offering solutions to problems and providing support for their recommendations.

  • Superb attention to detail and highly organized.

  • Strong work ethic and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

  • Maintain composure under pressure in a highly dynamic fast-paced environment.
