SALARY: $70-100K depending on experience
About Our Client: Our Client, an international jewelry retailer that engages in the sourcing, designing, wholesaling, and retailing of a variety of gold, platinum and gem-set jewelry products, is looking for a Branch Manager who speaks Mandarin and English. This role is located in the Milpitas area. The ideal candidate will have managerial/ supervisory experience in the jewelry/ luxury goods industry, and demonstrated experience leading and growing a team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Branch Manager will perform a number of duties including, but not limited to the following:
- Oversee the front and back of house operations
- Oversee commercial practices of the store
- Train, coach and develop the team to achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs
- Drive sales through effective merchandising and promotional activity
- Build strong customer relationships, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service and complaints resolution
- Maintain visual merchandising standards of store
- Effectively manage quality issues and order stock in line with sales projection
- Plan and manage staffing, labor costs, budgeting and forecasting
- Work closely with District/ Country Manager, other Branch Managers and Sales Managers on sales, training and recruitment
- Provide feedback to staff about performance and expectations
- Prepare sales and retail related reports as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
The following are the minimum requirements to be considered for this role:
- 6+ years' solid experience at a managerial/ supervisory level in the jewelry/ luxury goods retail industry
- Advanced communication and written skills in both English and Chinese
- Fluency in spoken Mandarin. Some Cantonese would be an asset
- Strong business sense, analytical thinking skills, ability to multi-task
- Good leadership and mentoring skills, with a trustworthy and honest personality
- Ability to coach and motivate a sales team to achieve sales target and have a high sense of ownership
- Ability to work with POS systems, Microsoft applications and portable devices
- Willing to work some weekends on a rotational basis
