Our client, a privately-owned, regional public accounting firm, is seeking an Audit & Assurance Senior to join its high-performing team. The candidate will focus on auditing the firm's clients' employee benefit plans. Job responsibilities include:
o Collaborating with team plan, perform and complete client employee benefit plan audits
o Collaborating with the team to identify, improve, and resolve client issues
o Perform reviews of work products and presentations to ensure the highest quality
o Supervise, train, and mentor staff and interns
Qualified candidates will have the following:
o Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field
o CPA certification or pursuit of CPA certification
o At least three years of internal or external audit experience with a corporation OR a public accounting firm
o Audit experience with a focus on employee benefit plans
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
