A client of mine located in Media, PA is looking for an Assistant Account Manager (Commercial Lines) to join their staff. This Assistant Account Manager will aid the Account Managers and clients with service needs and making changes to existing accounts. Ideally looking for applicants that have their Property and Casualty Licenses however this is not a requirement.
Some of the responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Provide technical support to AMs; specifically in analyzing client needs, coverage forms, and quotations.
Complete applications in coordination with AMs; submit applications to eligible and appropriate insurance carriers; follow up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies.
Orders and issues binders, certificates, policies, endorsements and other related items. Verifies documents for accuracy and gets them to the client with appropriate correspondence.
Determines if direct or agency billing is appropriate and invoices accordingly.
Reviews audits of policies
Verifies policy and policy change information
Uses agency credit and collection policy in invoicing and pursuing prompt payments
