Position: Assistant Branch Manager / Branch Manager (Jewelry Store) Location: Milpitas, CA Work Type: On-Site
About Our Client:
Our client, a leading international jewelry retailer, specializing in sourcing, designing, wholesaling, and retailing a variety of gold, platinum, and gem-set jewelry products, is continuing their expansion into the U.S. Market and actively seeking an Assistant Branch Manager/ Branch Manager to help oversee daily operations and support business growth at their latest retail location. The successful candidate must be fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English and have retail jewelry experience, preferably in a supervisory or managerial position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Assistant Branch Manager or Branch Manager, you will:
Oversee and direct daily branch operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functionality.
Formulate and implement marketing and business development strategies to drive branch growth.
Drive sales through effective merchandising and promotional activities.
Build strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through excellent service and complaint resolution.
Ensure the branch meets business targets and financial KPIs.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements within the branch.
Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to meet sales goals and maintain operational efficiency.
Collaborate with District Managers and other branch managers on sales initiatives, recruitment, and team development.
Prepare and submit sales reports and other retail-related documents as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:
A minimum of 15 years of solid experience in the retail industry, with at least 8 years in jewelry retail or management.
Strong knowledge of jewelry, including familiarity with gold, silver, platinum, and gemstones.
Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, with proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team to achieve branch goals.
Strong communication and coordination abilities, especially in customer-facing interactions.
A customer-first mindset, with the ability to build positive relationships and deliver excellent service.
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements to ensure adherence at the branch level.
Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft applications.
