Overview
Our client is a creamery in Sonoma County that provides artisanal yogurts and cheese across the country. We are seeking a Temporary Quality Systems Specialist / Intern to support SQF audit preparation through documentation, record review, and quality system organization. Ideal for an early-career professional with food manufacturing and administrative experience looking to gain hands-on QA exposure.
Responsibilities
Review and update SQF programs, procedures, and work instructions
Maintain controlled documents, logs, and version control
Support supplier documentation and SQF compliance records
Assist with mock recalls, internal audits, and management review documentation
Review COAs and production/sanitation records for audit readiness
Organize training records and support basic QA data tracking
Provide general QA documentation and administrative support
Qualifications
Food manufacturing experience required
Administrative/document management experience
Degree or coursework in Food Science or related science preferred
SQF/GFSI familiarity a plus
Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
