Location: Shadyside in Pittsburgh Pay Range: $17- $23 per hour. Depending on experience.
30-40 hours/week, for 3-6 months. Lot’s of opportunity to advance. Flexible 4-5 days during the day - likely (8am-430pm).
Performs general secretarial administrative duties such as composing and typing correspondence, maintaining departmental files, and assisting in monitoring departmental budgets. Provides administrative support to Community Managers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Identifies and suggests innovative approaches and participates in implementing performance improvement opportunities.
Maintains compliance with company policy and procedure in accordance with governing laws, regulations, regulatory agencies, accreditation bodies and facility standards.
Demonstrates on a consistent basis individual and team behavior that supports culture change.
Uses discretion when receiving and screening visitors and telephone calls and messages.
Interacts with a variety of personnel, including employees, residents, and other individuals.
Initiates, composes, and types correspondence, memos and recurring reports according to general directions received from supervisor.
Proofreads and edits final copy material for accuracy, consistency and clarity.
Coordinates appointments and meetings for supervisor and various staff members, and distributes relevant information or these meetings in a timely manner.
Maintains corporate files to ensure security as well as easy access for authorized personnel.
Communicates supervisor’s instructions or desires to other individuals/departments;furnishes and obtains information from other executives or outside representatives.
Operates standard office machines and equipment such as computers, calculators, photocopies, fax machines dictation/transcription equipment, and multi-line telephones.
Performs related general office duties such as opening and sorting mail, monitoring and ordering standard office supplies, collating and assembling documents, accepting and delivering interdepartmental

No experience required. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals. Ability to write business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Current PA Drivers License
