Our client, a technology company in Knoxville, TN, is looking for an Accounting Manager to its team. The company offers a competitive salary and a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
As part of the Accounting and Finance team, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for performing a diverse range of functions including but not limited to:
Overseeing the general ledger
Performing month-end close
Overseeing travel and expense management
Preparing expense allocations
Adjusting and reconciling intercompany balance sheet accounts
Assisting with cash reporting, forecasting, and management of bank accounts
Assisting with tax requests and projects
Performing audit support
Supervision of up to five team members
Qualifications
The following are the minimum requirements to be considered for this role:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Five years of relevant experience and career progression
Previous management experience
Strong GAAP knowledge
Strong data analysis and Excel skills
Previous experience working with sophisticated accounting software
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
