Seeking a consultant to join our team supporting a national data and information bureau. The role involves a close partnership with clients in a collaborative government-contractor environment. This bureau plays a pivotal role in providing quality data to influence and shape national policies and operations. Responsibilities:
Provide data visualization and comprehensive financial management support. Develop, refine, and manage dashboards in PowerBI/Tableau. Handle data ETL operations. Lead training and troubleshooting for various financial dashboards and reports. Conduct trend analysis. Coordinate and verify funding and contract modifications. Produce budgetary reports and charts for higher management. Prepare and present detailed budget analysis and projections. Create written budget justifications. Review and assess program office budget requests. Required Qualifications:
6+ years of professional experience.
Experience in federal settings (employee or contractor).
Expertise in creating PowerBI or Tableau dashboards.
Familiarity with federal budget formulation processes.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel.
Excellent communication skills.
Bachelor's degree.
Ability to manage projects independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
8+ years of professional experience.
Certifications in PowerBI or Tableau.
Experience with specific federal financial frameworks and systems.
Familiarity with data management platforms.
