We are currently seeking a detail-oriented 2nd shift Quality Control Inspector (Electro/Mechanical) to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will conduct inspection activities according to quality plans and engineering specifications to ensure compliance with specified requirements. Some overtime is available, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
Conduct inspection activities as per quality plans and engineering specifications.
Utilize and interpret tape measures, read blueprints, and interpret customer specifications.
Perform incoming, in-process, and final dimensional and visual inspections of materials and assemblies.
Electronically record inspection results to provide evidence of inspection and product acceptance or rejection.
Follow established work instructions and quality system procedures for handling nonconforming products.
Work closely with manufacturing to ensure compliance with engineering requirements.
Attend work punctually and be willing to work on-site and overtime as required.
Requirements:
Detail-oriented with experience inspecting mechanical, electrical, and structural assemblies or installations.
Experience with pneumatic pressure or leak testing and NEC-code is preferred.
Calibration of inspection and test equipment with 2-3 years of experience.
Experience in an ISO 9001 environment is preferred.
