Our client is looking for a Project Accountant to join their development team. This role plays a key part in managing financial reporting, budgeting, and profitability analysis for large-scale real estate projects. If you’re detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to make an impact across all areas of development accounting, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
Build financial models to evaluate project costs, pricing, and profitability.
Track and analyze expenses to ensure budgets are met.
Manage construction loan draws and work directly with banks.
Partner with operations and construction teams on forecasting and budget reviews.
Support the Controller with budgeting, forecasting, and risk analysis.
Prepare accurate financial reports, P&L, and balance sheet statements.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide insights to leadership.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
5+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally with real estate development or large projects.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Sage 300 experience is preferred
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or with a team.
