Operations Specialist:
A rapidly expanding Registered Investment Advisor is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will embody high integrity, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a collaborative environment. A positive attitude and efficient task management are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle administrative tasks related to opening and maintaining client accounts, tailored to client preferences and requests.
Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests.
Utilize technology systems effectively to manage day-to-day operations and conduct ad hoc research within client-defined timelines.
Liaise with custodians on various account-related issues.
Recognize situations that may require the financial advisors' attention.
Track, monitor, and distribute tax documents and other requests from clients' advisory teams, including CPAs, lawyers, and family office staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
1-3 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with custodians and portfolio reporting/contact management software.
Basic understanding of the investment brokerage industry and securities.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
