Our Client a leading manufacturing facility in Tulsa, OK, is seeking an experienced CNC Horizontal Boring Mill Operator to join our team. This is a full-time, day-shift position with possible second-shift openings.
Job Duties:
Set up, operate, and inspect quality parts on CNC boring mill machines.
Interpret drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and setup requirements.
Measure and mark dimensions on material as a guide for machining.
Detect and adjust for equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
Communicate with supervisors, engineers, and other team members to resolve machining or quality issues.
Keep equipment and work area clean, perform basic preventative maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety rules.
Experience Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in CNC machining.
Blueprint reading skills.
Ability to hold close tolerances and use machining tools (OD ID Mic’s).
Knowledge of M&G codes.
Fanuc Control Experience.
Ability to create your own set-up.
Advanced knowledge of reading drawings and specifications with an understanding of geometric tolerancing and dimensions.
Basic math skills for material fabrication calculations.
