Our client, a leading provider of multidisciplinary engineering and design services to water, transportation, and aviation end-markets, is now hiring a Client Services Manager - Transportation Engineering for the West Palm Beach, Doral, Miami, and other company locations nearby.
Primary Function
This position will be expected to plan, design, and manage multidiscipline projects consisting of process design and capital improvement projects for clients. The individual should be capable of performing technical work ranging from studies/master planning to design projects. The individual will also be required to serve as a Client Service Manager for customers to maintain effective communication with customers, update the status of existing projects, and develop ongoing new business.
Primary Duties
Perform studies and masterplans for (relevant) projects
Develop detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates
More specific responsibilities include performing or managing engineering/process design
Develop proposals as required in response to requests for proposals/qualifications and lead the company in teaming opportunities
Ability to guide, direct, and coordinate with the multiple departments and sub-consultants required for multi-discipline projects
Perform communication and business development duties with current and potential clients
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited college is required
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience required designing and delivering projects in the (relevant) market sector
A Professional Engineer’s license in the state or the ability to gain licensure within 3 months of hire is a must
Experience in managing production and treatment projects as well and/or experience performing design and construction management
An advanced understanding of principles and state regulations is required
Candidate must be self-motivated, able to lead or assist a project team to completion of multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
