Job Title: Site EHS Lead
Location: Albany, GA
Position Summary:
The Site EHS Lead is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs to ensure regulatory compliance and promote a strong safety culture. This role is part of the Site Leadership Team and reports to the Site Director, with functional alignment to Global EHS.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead site EHS programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company standards.
Drive continuous improvement in safety culture through training, engagement, and proactive initiatives.
Manage audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action plans.
Oversee environmental compliance, including waste management, air, and water systems.
Track and report EHS metrics, KPIs, and regulatory submissions.
Partner cross-functionally to ensure EHS considerations are integrated into operations and projects.
Maintain site emergency response and contractor safety programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Safety, or related field (preferred).
5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations;experience with ISO 14001 preferred.
Proven track record of improving safety performance and compliance metrics.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
